Project Details:

Since 1996, several improvements have been designed for the Las Cruces wastewater treatment plant. These improvements are now being implemented to the plant, which is currently rated at 8.9 Mgd. The improvement projects include:

• New Equalization Basins, in response to the continued and rapid growth in the City of Las Cruces. When these basins are put into service, the plant will be able to treat 13.5 Mgd on an equalized basis. This capacity will allow the additional population of approximately 50,000 people on the system.
