Project Details:

• Two identical prestressed girder bridges along I-25 over NM 320.

• Traffic used to travel through two existing CBCs.

• Vertical and horizontal clearances of the CBCs are inadequate by current AASHTO standards.

• Several alternatives considered which investigated cost effectiveness of various girder types, span lengths, and wall systems.

• Proposed single span bridges, each 43’ wide and span 112’-6”.

• Continuous for HS 25 live loading.

• Spread footing foundation integral with tall cast-in-place abutment and wingwalls.
